A stunning antique French silver coin purse with 2 compartments. The body is made up from intricately woven and delicate 800 silver mesh.
The base of the purse features a beaded fringe with 4 silver pearls and it has a wonderfully dragon engraved silver frame with a kiss lock clasp fastener. There is a small blank cartouche on the purse frame so it could be personalised with initials if desired. There is a small jump ring so the purse can be hung from a chatelaine or sash. French marks for silver across the frame, c1900. 3 Hallmarks and number 18755 Good used condition overall, 3 silver pearls missing, signs of use and wear commensurate with age It is a century-old antique jewelry and is not in new condition.
